ArkAsia Foundation
Rescue - Rehabilitation - Release
The Story Begins Here
The ArkAsia Rehabilitation Center (Animal Rescue Kingdom Asia), registered under the name Yayasan Graha Satwa, was founded in 2020 in Bintan, in the Riau Islands province of Indonesia. Arkasia now works in partnership with the Natural Resources Conservation Center (Balai Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam – BKSDA) and local communities. Our Rehabilitation Center covers more than 2,000 Islands in the Province of Riau.
At ArkAsia Foundation, we stand beside them. Protecting, healing and giving back the the freedom that was taken away. Our action is simple: transform suffering into hope, and hope into life.
Compassion is not just what we do, it's what we are!
Our Main Projects
The Cat House Project
Because Every Life Matters
Faithful to our values of respect and compassion.
Every day in Bintan, dozens of abandoned cats struggle to survive on the streets. A Faithful to our values of respect and compassion, ArkAsia is a no-kill shelter — a sanctuary where every life has priceless value.
At the ArkAsia Foundation, we believe that every life deserves safety, care, and compassion.
Young langurs rescued from human conflict deserve a second chance. In this project, we care for orphaned leaf-eating langurs with the same love and attention a mother would give — providing milk, proper nutrition, and protection as they grow stronger each day.
Our ultimate goal is to return them to the wild, where they belong.
Discover their journey from rescue to freedom.
