Meet Loulou!

In 5 October 2022, a small female Kekah Bintan arrived in our care.
She was only 4–5 weeks old.

Loulou was found by a farmer on his land — alone, without her mother, far too young to survive by herself. At that age, a baby Kekah Bintan should still be constantly clinging to her mother, fully dependent on her for warmth, milk, and protection.

When Loulou first arrived, she was fragile and vulnerable. She required round-the-clock care — bottle feeding, careful monitoring, warmth, and gentle handling to replace the maternal care she had lost. Each small weight gain was a victory. Each day stronger was a sign of hope.

Over time, Loulou began to grow.
From a tiny infant with uncertain odds, she has become a curious young monkey with bright eyes and a developing personality. She is learning, exploring, and gradually building the strength she needs for her future.

But raising a young primate is a long journey. It requires specialized nutrition, veterinary supervision, enrichment, and a safe environment that supports her physical and psychological development.
