Meet Baby Baltazar 🐒

Baby Baltazar is a young Silvered Langur who came to ArkAsia in September 2024, when he was only about two months old. At that age, he still had the bright orange fur typical of baby silvered langurs. He was found by local people without his mother, leaving him helpless and unable to survive on his own.

Because Baltazar arrived alone, our team had to become his family. He was cared for like a human baby — given milk every two hours, carried close for warmth and comfort, and watched over day and night.

Now, at 1 year and 7 months old, Baltazar is healthy, active, and full of curiosity. At this stage, ArkAsia is focused on helping him rediscover his wild side through daily rehabilitation and natural behavior training, so that one day he can safely return to the forest where he belongs.
