Asep arrived at our shelter on July 5th, 2022, in heartbreaking condition. He was blind, extremely thin, and covered in dirt, clearly having endured a long period of neglect. Weak and disoriented, Asep could barely navigate his surroundings, relying only on his other senses to understand a world he could no longer see.

Despite everything he had been through, Asep showed a quiet resilience. With patient care, proper nutrition, and medical attention, he slowly began to regain his strength. Our team worked gently with him, helping him learn to feel safe again and adapt to his environment without sight.

Today, Asep continues his journey of recovery. While blindness makes life more challenging, he has learned to navigate his space with confidence and trust in the people who care for him. He reminds us every day that healing is possible, even after the darkest beginnings.
